Step 1: Contact the Early Childhood Education Department
We would like everyone to check in with the department before they enroll in Early Childhood Education classes. Contact the
Health and Human Services Division. We would like to talk to you either by phone or in person to help select the path that is
right for your own development.
Step 2: Apply to North Seattle Community College
If you are a new student, you must apply to the college first in person or by mail. Visit the "Steps to Admission" section of the site
for more information.
Step 3: Registering for CCE 160 and CCE 292 requires an Entry Code
To register for CCE 160 Connecting to Children and CCE 292 Classroom Research you must have evidence that you have talked to one of us in the Early Childhood Program. Once you are officially a North Seattle Community College student, you can get an ENTRY CODE for this class by calling the Health and Human Services Division or calling the Program Coordinator or visiting the Health and Human Services Division for advising. An ENTRY CODE is not required for the other Early Childhood Education Courses.
