Destination China: Saturday, February 2, 2008 (6pm - 10pm)

This year, North Passport took us on a colorful and exciting journey to celebrate the diversity of Chinese culture and people in Seattle. The event attracted 225 community leaders and loyal supporters who enjoyed an authentic Chinese evening full of entertainment and delicious Chinese foods. Through North Passport: Destination China, community individuals and corporations donated a new record of over $183,000 gross revenue in support of Education Fund Scholarship programs and related support services. We were able to keep expenses low at approximately $21,000. Therefore, our net revenue from North Passport 2008 was more than $162,000. This is an increase of approximately $38,000 over the April 2007 North Passport: Destination Greece, which had doubled the 2006 event contributed income.
