Ways to Give to NSCC

Direct Gifts

Gifts through your employer

• Matching Gift Programs offered by many companies allows you to increase and often double the impact of your gift. Be sure to check with your employer regarding procedure.

Stocks, Securities and non-Cash Gifts

The NSCC Education Fund would be happy to work with you or your financial advisor to arrange any of the following special methods of giving.

Bequests can be made through your will or living trust as a charitable contribution to North. Your gift can include giving a percentage of your estate, a fixed amount, or giving property after all other bequests have been made. Please work with your attorney to develop a bequest that is best for you.

Charitable Remainder Trusts allow donors to support North both during and after their lifetime. To arrange a Charitable Remainder Trust, please consult your attorney and financial advisor.

Real Estate property, such as land and buildings, can be given to make a major contribution to the college.

Life Insurance makes a generous contribution to the college through the donation of a life insurance policy.

Appreciated Securities may be given as a contribution to the Education Fund. Many donors opt for this form of giving to avoid paying capital gains and allow the Education Fund to receive a significant gift for the value of the appreciated stocks.

Personal Property such as equipment, art objects, or collections may be given as gifts to the Education Fund. For information on how to give personal property, please contact the Education Fund Associate Director.
