The NSCC Telecommunications program can prepare students for entry in a broad number of careers, including installing, repairing, and maintaining telephone equipment, cables, access lines, and telecommunications systems, including wireless communication systems. Positions might include:

Wireless and cellular service technicians who specialize in cellular services and manufacturing, WiFi/802.11, wireless LAN/WAN, digital, email, Internet, and security. Among the many career options to choose from are

Line and station installers/repair technicians who connect central offices to customer telephone systems and also service and repair telephone systems and other communications equipment on-site at a customer's location.
