Registration (How to Register)
Registering for Classes
New Students register for classes with
the help of their Advisor.
- Currently Enrolled Students register for classes by
using Online Services available on the website. Instructions on how to register for classes online are available on the Web Registration application. Choose "Register/Add/Drop Classes" under Online Services and follow the link for "Online Registration Instructions" for help registering.
Paying for Tuition and Fees by Credit Card
Tuition can be paid in person at the Cashier's office, or remotely using our automated payment system.
- You can pay your tuition at the cashier's office by cash, check, credit card, or your Financial Aid award.
- You can also pay online by credit card without ever coming to campus. NSCC accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards.

You can pay for your courses online by choosing the 'Pay for Courses Online' on the lower right corner of the Online Services page. Our automated payment system requires payment in full.
Note: Some fees may not be required for the following students. If you are a student who fits in one of the two categories below, please call or visit the Cashier's Office before making your payment.
- Students enrolled in Distance Learning Courses
- Concurrent Students (Students taking classes at more than one Seattle Community College in one quarter: North, South, Central and/or SVI)
The following items should be purchased on campus.
- Parking
- Photo Identification
- Video Rental
- Bus Passes
