Graduation Preparation
Are You Graduating this Year? Graduation Procedure: How to Apply for Graduation
You must apply for your award certificate as soon as you have registered for the final courses needed to complete the degree/certificate. Graduation application dates are listed below. The Application for a Degree or Certificate is available at the front counter at the Admissions/Registration Office, the Advising Center, or below in PDF format.

After you have filled out an application, make an appointment with an Advisor in the Advising Center or your Faculty Coordinator if you are completing one of the Health & Human Services or Watch Technology programs. Graduation Applications must be signed and a current Report of Academic Progress (Degree Audit) needs to be attached.

Submit the Graduation Application to the front counter of the Admissions/Registration office.

The process to evaluate the Graduation Applications will begin after grades have been posted on the students' transcripts. Students will not be contacted before or during Graduation evaluation unless a problem arises. Students will receive their diplomas in the mail from 1 to 8 weeks after the degree/certificate has been posted to NSCC's transcript. Students can monitor when degree/certificates have been posted by viewing their online transcript (see: Online Services). Posted degree/certificates will appear at the bottom of the transcript. Graduation applications submitted after the quarterly deadline will be held and processed the following quarter.
