Washington Scholarships for Child Care Professionals

Washington Scholarships for Child Care Professionals (formerly the T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® Washington) is a program that helps early childhood professionals pay for a college education through community and technical colleges in early childhood education. We also help pay for Child Development Associates (C.D.A.) credential application fees. Criteria for Scholarship Eligibility
Are you a center provider AND...?
If you meet the following criteria, you may be eligible for scholarship, on a space available basis:

Are employed, not volunteering, in a WA State licensed child care center.
Work at least 30 hours per week (15-29 hours per week for school-age care providers).
Have worked at your current center for at least 6 months.
Plans to pursue a CDA, ECE certificate, or ECE Associates Degree at a WA State community or technical college.


Are you a family child care provider AND...?
Are employed, not volunteering, in a WA State licensed family child care home.
Work at least 30 hours per week (15-29 hours per week for school-age care providers).
Have operated your family child care business for at least 6 months.
Plans to pursue a CDA, ECE certificate, or ECE Associates Degree at a WA State community or technical college.

Do you need a scholarship for the $325.00 CDA Assessment fee AND...?
Are employed, not volunteering, in a WA state licensed family child care home.
Work at least 30 hours per week (15-29 hours per week for school-age care providers).
Have worked at your current center for at least 3 months.
Have completed CDA course work through a community or technical college or a community based organization.
