This application will be used to determine award winners for the following scholarships:
- Washington CPA Foundation Scholarships
- George Waterman Memorial Scholarship(s)
Qualifications:
Academic Achievement: Minimum 3.0 GPA overall and in accounting courses
On-Campus Activities
Off-Campus/Community Activities
Probability of Earning CPA License
Work History
Professional Potential
At Least Junior Status
Graduate and International Student are Eligible for Washington CPA Foundation Scholarships
Acceptance into University Accounting Department

Copy of most recent quarter/semester grades (if available)
Documentation of Accounting Major
Two Letters of Recommendation: One from an Accounting Professor and One from Your Current/Former
Employer. If no Current/Former Employer is available, please submit a Letter of Recommendation from a second
Accounting Professor
All Letters of Recommendation must be on University or Company Letterhead
Scholarship Guidelines
- Non-Renewable
- Students attending accredited 4-year colleges/universities in Washington or,
- Completion of an AA degree with acceptance into a 4-year college/university accounting program in Washington
- Students most likely to become CPAs will merit most consideration
- Scholarship awards are $2,000 each and will be applied to tuition expenses for Fall Quarter 2010
