Academic Support
NSCC has a number of campus offices that can support you directly in your academics, or help you indirectly with your goals. Learn more about these select support offices:

Advising Center
Visit the Advising Center for advice and help in developing your educational plans. Whether you plan to transfer to a four-year college or you are pursuing a professional/technical degree or certificate, talking with an advisor will help ensure you are on the right track.

Advisors will also help you choose the right classes for your program at NSCC, be it Business, Electronics, Engineering Technology, Information Technology, a Adult Basic Education (ABE), English as a Second Language (ESL), General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or the Adult High School Completion programs. Career Services
The Career Center specialists are here to support your successful transition from the classroom to employment. Visit the Career Center for help in securing an internship or professional employment. Counseling Center
The Counseling Center specializes in academic, career and mental health counseling. Counselors can help you develop your academic skills in areas such as study skills and time management. Multicultural Student Services
Multicultural Student Services facilitates the academic persistence, success, and graduation of students of color. Programs are designed to focus on each student's individual needs and to engender a sense of community among students. Tutoring
NSCC has tutoring services available to help you succeed in your classes. Many tutoring services are available from The Loft writing lab with grammar, writing, and pronunciation help in English and foreign languages to the Math Learning Center which provides tutoring in math and science as well as some computer science courses. Women's Center
The Women's Center supports the educational interests and endeavors of all current and prospective students, regardless of gender.
