NSCC offers two main tracks: Professional/Technical programs and College Transfer programs. The degree or major you choose will put you on different paths with specific services and advisors to help you.

College Transfer Programs
Students graduating from collegeCollege Transfer programs are designed to prepare you for transfer to a four-year college. These include the Associate of Arts degree, the Associate of Science degrees, and Associate of Business Degree.

Professional/Technical Programs
Students work on computers. Professional/Technical programs provide specialized training and skill development and are designed to prepare you for entrance into the workforce. These programs normally do not transfer to a four-year college.

Where do I learn more about Professional/Technical programs?
If you need help or advice in starting your program, we break our professional/technical programs into two different categories. Depending on the program you choose, you will get help and advice either from the Advising Center or directly from your department staff.
Programs that advise students through the Advising Center: Business, Electronics, Engineering Technology and CAD, and Information Technology.  
Programs that advise students through their Department: : Early Childhood Education, Health and Medical, and Child and Family.
