The Class Schedule

Each quarter, NSCC publishes a class schedule listing important information regarding the courses offered for the upcoming quarter. The schedule contains all the information you will need to register for classes including:

  • The times, locations, and instructors for the quarter's classes
  • Important dates, such as the deadline for paying tuition and the last day you can add or drop a class
  • The final exam schedule
  • Other policies and procedures that pertain to your enrollment at NSCC

Two versions of the class schedule are available: the printed schedule and the online schedule.

Printed Schedule
The printed version of the class schedule can be found throughout campus. You can also choose to download the printed schedule from the Class Schedule web page.

In the printed class schedule, courses are listed under the following headings:

  • Distance Learning
These courses are taught primarily over the Internet.
  • Academic Education
This section includes college preparatory coursework, Professional/Technical Courses, and College Transfer courses. Courses notated with a "TR" next to them will transfer to a four-year college.
  • Continuing Education
These are non-credit courses for personal enrichment.

Online Schedule
The Online Class Schedule is the most up-to-date version of the class listings, so you may want to check periodically for added courses or other class changes. You can find the online schedule listed on the Class Schedule web page. You can search for classes by department, course number, or instructor.

You can also check if the class you want is still open for registration by clicking on the "status" link next to that class.
