Computer Lab Fee (CL)
A quarterly lab fee is charged at the time of registration for every student enrolling in one or more computer-related classes. The fee is only charged once regardless of the number of computer classes in which the student is enrolled, and only for classes that require use of a computer lab or campus servers. Exceptions: Continuing Education classes that incorporate fees into
tuition.

GoPass (CG)
The GoPass is a transit pass created for SCCD that is accepted on both Metro and Sound Transit routes as well as the Sounder commuter train. The pass is valid for the entire quarter, and provides unlimited travel during peak and off-peak times and has no zone-restrictions. Students enrolled in 10 or more credits may purchase the pass at the discounted price. Students enrolled for less than 10 credits pay the standard price. Lost passes may be replaced within the first two weeks of the quarter for the standard price regardless of the number of credits taken. Students may purchase either a GoPass or Parking Permit, but not both.

Photo ID Fee (AA)
All new and interrupted students, except Continuing Education students, will be required to purchase a photo ID card. A one-time, mandatory fee will be charged with tuition. The ID card will also be needed to check out books, gain access to recreational facilities and for other student activities. The card is good for as long as you are a student. If you lose the card, or it is stolen, damaged or mutilated, there will be a replacement fee. This identification is valid only as a Seattle Community College District identification. Placement Testing Fee (EA)
Applicants must take mandatory placement tests in both English and math prior to initial enrollment. The testing session fee is charged for each testing session. Both tests may be done in one session, or separate sessions per applicant's choice. This fee is also charged for GED tests.

Seattle Community College District is required by law to meet the Transportation Management Program and Commute Trip Reduction laws. As a result, students enrolled in 10 or more credits (or credit-equivalents) must pay this quarterly transportation fee.

Transcript Fee (FT)
Fee to cover costs associated with issuing official NSCC academic transcripts. Unofficial transcripts are available free of charge from our Online Services.

Universal Technology Fee (UT)
The Universal Technology Fee is applied to every student except: Running Start students, students enrolled in 3 credits or less, students enrolled in non-credit classes, ABE/ESL students, GED Prep students, students enrolled only in distance learning or Washington online classes.

Wellness Center Access Fee (DX)
Students pay a per-credit Wellness Center access fee for the first 10 credits. Students enrolled exclusively in special-programs classes such as Continuing Education, Running Start, and ESL are not required to pay the access fee, but do not have access to the Wellness Center Facilities unless paying the optional Special Programs Access Fee.
