Student Enrollment and Degree Verifications
Website: http://www.studentclearinghouse.org
The National Student Clearinghouse was established to simplify the enrollment verification process for both lenders and students. The Clearinghouse acts as the school's agent for purposes of confirming enrollment and/or degree information for students, financial aid recipients, and students with student loans. The process is electronic and requires no paper to be processed by either lender or student. NSCC reports quarterly enrollment information three times per quarter and once after every quarter for graduates to the Clearinghouse. Once this information is received, the Clearinghouse is then able to receive requests from Clearinghouse members and will process the paper deferment forms that were received from the school. No paper deferment is necessary. 24/7 Availability: National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. A list of active lender participants can be viewed through the Internet at www.studentclearinghouse.org or you may contact them at 703-742-4200 for more information.
