WA State Certif.
Fall quarter 2008, class begins September 23 and runs Tuesday and Thursday nights 6pm - 10pm, and every Saturday 8:30am - 4:30pm, in room IB1409. The cost is currently $679.07 (state tuition is $113.00 @ 11.30 per credit x 10 credits and $566.07 self-support lab fees) plus the wristwatch, textbook, workbook, pocket mask, stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, penlight, and school polo shirt. Fees are subject to change.

AHE190 (10 credits) Emergency Medical Technician
The total course consists of 150 hours of classroom and practical laboratory training, plus a minimal 10 additional hours of in-hospital observation. The course offers training in emergency medical care for those who provide pre-hospital emergency care according to the United States Department of Transportation, EMT Basic Curriculum, Washington State Law, and King County EMS Guidelines.

Paramedic Training
North Seattle Community College does not offer Advanced Life Support training. For a list of available programs in Washington State, please refer to the website for Approved Paramedic Training Programs by the Washington State Department of Health.

Wilderness EMT
NSCC does not offer a wilderness EMT course. For information on this type of course, contact Remote Medical International at www.remotemedical.com.
