WA State Certif.

Student Responsibilities

  1. 100% attendance is desired. Any student missing more than 2 sessions may be administratively withdrawn from the class.

  2. Written examinations must meet 80% minimum scores and class hours must be met.

  3. During practical examinations, students must demonstrate and pass the skills required by the State Department of Health - EMT Division, and King County EMS Division of Public Health.

North Seattle Community College Responsibilities

  1. Assess candidates for the course.

  2. Teach students the roles and responsibilities of the Emergency Medical Technician according to state and King County standards and requirements.

  3. Develop student skills in patient evaluation and other emergency medical procedures.
