Photo: nurse entering data into laptop computer. The IT for Healthcare program utilizes a modern laboratory equipped with Gateway tablet PCs and an electronic whiteboard — a state-of the art instructional tool allowing students to focus on instruction rather than note-taking.

The IT for Healthcare lab features Microsoft software. Students will be trained with MS Visio (process flow), MS Project (project management), MS Access (database) and database querying using SQL Server (SQL queries). This opportunity to gain valuable, real world skills on industry standard software is an immediately usable and practical feature of the NSCC IT for Healthcare Lab.
