Additional options related to Medical Assisting are offered in the same self-paced format. Students may take shared option and attain more than one certificate of achievement for the below programs or may choose to complete one option, then go out and work, and return to take additional options to attain another certificate of achievement.

Medical Reception - Intended to give students a short training program with basic office skills required to enter the medical field in an entry-level, front desk job.

Medical Office Administration - Intended to give students a more involved training program with basic and administrative clerical skills to enter the medical field in a variety of front office positions.

Medical Transcription - This short program is intended for the student who is already in the medical field and wants to add transcription skills to their qualifications.

Clinical Lab Assisting - Intended for training the student to work in physician's office labs (not hospital) to perform venipuncture and other specimen collections, process specimens, and perform waived tests.

Health Care Assistant Preparation - Intended for current employees in the medical field who need to gain their HCA levels A, C & E in order to perform invasive procedures.

Medical Fundamentals for Clinical Research Professionals - created with input from clinical research facilities. It is geared for those clinical research professionals who have no previous healthcare experience, who would like a foundation in medical terminology, medical records and theory of patient care and clinical procedures.
