| Medical Reception Option |

The Medical Reception program is an MA option in the Medical Assisting Certificate program. It is intended to give students
a short training program with basic office skills required to enter the medical
field in entry-level positions such as a front desk person, receptionist or
file clerk. Students that complete the Medical Reception program module shown below will receive a certificate of completion. Recommended schedule is flexible; students may take less credits per quarter but should take courses in order listed. Prerequisites: Courses must be within the last ten years or COMPASS test is required. Contact Testing Center.
Applicant should have oral English skills sufficient to communicate accurately with others in the medical field. Applicant must have completed a medical terminology course.
