Additional Training/Licensing Requirements: Students are encouraged to take the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination offered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Although voluntary, this exam is recognized by many states outside of Washington and serves as a basis for employment.
