In addition to the student responsibilities as indicated in the SCCD policies and procedures, practical nursing students are also subject to the following additional requirements.
Uniform Disciplinary Act
The Washington State Board of Practical Nursing may deny licensure to a program graduate if he or she is unable to answer satisfactorily personal data required under the Unprofessional Conduct section of the Uniform Disciplinary Act, the Revised Codes of Washington (RCW 18.130.180).
If a Washington State Patrol background-check report indicates past convictions, the student will be administratively withdrawn from the program until the record is cleared.
Course Repetition
Any course required for the practical Nursing program cannot be repeated more than once.
