It is designed to help people meet the workplace demands of the local community and the economic challenges of the global marketplace
The International Trade Certificate Program will include the courses

- International Trade: Import
- Global Logistics
“Events around the world, especially in the newly enlarged European Union, continually chronicle the need for an increased awareness of global business and trade,” notes Verna Swanljung, program coordinator.
“We live in an era of globalization: the trend toward greater economic, cultural, political, and technological interdependence among national institutions and national economies. This phenomenon has brought with it an increased demand for knowledgeable professionals who can talk the language of globalization and bridge the gap that separates nations and neighborhoods. Our program will provide that expertise.”
