North Seattle Community College's music students and alumni perform all over the region. But you don’t have to travel very far to hear them, as many are featured in upcoming events on campus. Some examples
- The Studo Jazz Orchestra, led by Fred Radke, will perform at noon December 5, and the Studio Jazz Ensemble will be featured at noon on December 7. Both concerts are in the Baxter Center.
- An exhibit of 50 photos from low income students that shows their struggles to improve their lives and the important role education plays is being shown in the Art Gallery through December 2
- An evening of poetry featuring Pesha Joyce Gertler, Seattle’s new Poet Populist and other Poet Populist finalists will be presented at 7:30 p.m. December 2 in the Rose Room.
- The College Choir will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. December 9 in the Concert Hall
- A holiday concert featuring the Seattle Symphonic Band is on tap for 7:30 p.m. on December 11, also in the Concert Hall
