Commission Seeks Comments on NSCC

An evaluation team from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities will conduct a comprehensive review of North Seattle Community College to determine whether the college’s accreditation should be reaffirmed. This is in keeping with the commission’s standard practice of reviewing all institutions’ accreditation status every 10 years. The visit is scheduled for April 4-7.

To ensure the review is comprehensive, the commission has invited community comments about the college to be sent directly to the commission before March 1, 2007. These comments should be sent to:

North has accredited status with the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities Its last comprehensive review occurred in 1997, but a partial review was conducted in April 2004.
