Free Mammograms Offered on Campus

North Seattle Community College’s Women’s Center, in conjunction with Swedish Medical Center and the YWCA, will offer free mammograms to qualifying women on Saturday, January 12, 2008. The mobile mammography unit will be on the NSCC campus from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Low income women or those with limited or no health insurance and between the ages of 40 and 64 years-old are eligible for the free service. Women who are 35 to 39 years-old may also qualify if their doctors have recommended that they get a mammogram.
