Earth Week Fair April 22-23

What: 3rd Annual Earth Week Festival - free event and the public is welcome!
Where: North Seattle Community College, 9600 College Way North, Seattle, 98103. Outdoors in the ground level plaza (between the Instruction Building and College Center) and Baxter Center. Maps of the campus and parking information are available at http://www.northseattle.edu.
When: Tuesday, April 22nd from 11 a. m. to 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday, April 23rd from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Who: Speakers, music by Phil Brooks and Squirrel Butter, more than 60 organic food and green product businesses and environmental/sustainability organizations
Why Attend: Because it's fun to sustain and save the Earth plus - free giveaways!
Speakers include: Author and blogger, Cecile Andrews of Phinney EcoVillage, speaking about a north Seattle neighborhood project to build sustainability and community; Seattle University Professor Gary Chamberlain, author of "Troubled Waters", speaking about the global water crisis and Ian Sanderson who'll discuss innovative green cleaning products and solutions. (10:00 - 11:00 a.m., April 23rd)
More than 60 booths, presented by local organic farms and food businesses, green businesses, and non-profit groups dedicated to the environment and sustainability will demonstrate their products and provide information. They range from BioLyle's Biodiesel Workshop to Tiny's Organics, from Seattle Electric Vehicle Association to Goods for the Planet. (11:00 am - 1:00 p.m. both days)
