SID - Student Identification Number:
The college assigns a 9-digit Student Identification Number (SID)
to every student who enrolls at North. (Prior to April 2002, social security
numbers were used as the SID. NSCC no longer uses the social security number as
the SID.)
- New Students: Once you have applied, you will
receive your student ID within a week.
- Lost or Forgotten?
- Your Student ID is printed on your Student ID card. Check your card for a reminder.
- If you have lost or forgotten your SID
and/or PIN, you will need to contact the Registration
Office. For fastest service, we recommend you visit the office in person
with a picture identification.
PIN - Personal Identification Number (password):
All students have a Personal Identification Number (PIN). The
PIN is used for all inquiry functions and for quarterly registration purposes.
- New Students: The college sets up your first PIN temporarily,
based as your birthdate in the format MMDDYY. Example: If your birthday is
March 18, 1955 then your PIN would be 031855.
- Changing your PIN: You will be able to use your temporary PIN to login and change it to a secure PIN number. Please do so at your earliest opportunity via the "PIN (Password) Change" option located on the Online Services page. All PINs are 4-6 numbers in length.
- Lost or Forgotten? If you have lost or forgotten your
PIN, you will need to contact the Admissions/Registration
Office. For fastest service, we recommend you visit the office in-person
with a picture identification.
