Students who are considering majoring in science, math or a health profession at a four-year university or college have several Associate of Science transfer degree options at North Seattle Community College. Associate of Science degrees are designed to allow students to complete many of the prerequisite math or science and general education courses essential for these majors.
Students should consult with an academic advisor and/or a major faculty advisor, as well as the four-year institution to which they intend to transfer, to determine which degree will best serve their needs and for guidance in course selection.

This 90-credit degree is designed to allow students to complete 40 credits of
math/science courses in their major area of study. The balance of units are
applied toward basic and general education requirements.

This 90-credit degree is designed to allow students
to complete 65 math/science credits-required or recommended for those intending
to major in Biological, Environmental, Resource Sciences, Chemistry, Geology
and Earth Sciences.
