Students now have the opportunity to enroll at the University of Washington Bothell while completing an associate degree from North.
North Seattle is the first community college in the City of Seattle to offer the option to students who are pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences, and Computing and Software Systems.
Here's how the dual enrollment program works:
- After earning their first 45 credits at NSCC and meeting program requirements, students can apply for dual enrollment.
- Admitted students become official students at both NSCC and the University of Washington, Bothell and can take classes at both schools.
- Students complete their associate's degree at NSCC while taking upper-level courses at UWB.
- Students can combine credits to achieve full-time status for financial aid and GI Bill benefits and apply benefits at both schools.
The UW Bothell offers upper division classes in Business Administration, Computing and Software Systems, and Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences. NSCC has a nationally noted Coordinated Studies program, and offers an Associate in Business degree, an Associate of Arts degree, and Associate of Science degree options that transfer to the UW Bothell.
