If more than one word is entered, documents will be retrieved that have ALL the words specified. If you wish to find all the documents that have any word, then use "or" between your search words.
Example: When you enter two words, the search engine will look for web page that have BOTH the words "tuition" and "fees" on the same page. If you want to search for pages that have EITHER "tuition" or "fees" on the page, use "or" between the search words.
Example:
Truncate a word, use an asterisk (*) at the end to search for all words with the same root.
Example: Searching for
would retrieve documents that have the words "math", "mathematics", etc.
All search items must be over 3 letters, or the search engine will tell you that no items were found. Search for "physical education" instead of "PE".
The search engine does not read apostrophes ( ' ). Instead of searching for "women's center" try searching for the two words "women center".
The search engine does not read commas ( , ). When searching for a person, try searching for "Braziunas" or "Tom Braziunas" instead of "Braziunas, Tom".
