About the Campus Alert System
Seattle Community Colleges students and staff members can sign-up to receive text message and e-mail alerts in case of a campus emergency or unplanned closure.
Using your college SID and PIN numbers, you will log in to a special Web site where you can indicate a cell phone number (for text message alerts) and/or e-mail address where you'd like to receive alerts. You may list more than one in either category. Alerts to staff and faculty will go to their college e-mail address by default but other numbers/addresses can be added.
The Seattle Community Colleges Alert System will make its best effort to send messages if there is an emergency that causes the campus to close unexpectedly or if there is an incident that might pose a danger to the campus community.
