Free, sheltered bike racks are conveniently located in various places throughout
the campus, and the Wellness Center has
rental lockers available for bicycle commuters.
NSCC students and employees who walk, bike, or carpool to campus, pay the TMP/CTR fee, and register before the end of the second week of the quarter, can receive Commuter Bonus Plus Vouchers provided they do not purchase a parking permit. The vouchers can be redeemed for goods and services at local businesses and organizations such as: AAA, Brown Bear Car Wash, Flexcar, REI, Union 76 and the YMCA.
The Commuter Bonus Plus program is the only known voucher program of its kind in the country and is designed to provide a transportation benefit to those who carpool, walk or bicycle to work. NSCC also extends this benefit to its eligible students. Participation in the program has grown steadily since its introduction in 1995.
