Step 1: Apply

Save Time: If you have attended or applied to NSCC before, there is no need to apply for admission again. If you know your Student ID and PIN numbers, you will be able to register once the Open Registration begins. Be sure to update your contact information. If you have any questions or would like us to send you registration information, please contact our office:  Phone.  206-527-3663.

Open Registration is ongoing beginning the 8th week of the previous quarter.

New Students
If this is your first time attending North Seattle Community College, we have provided some simple 'steps to admission' to help guide you through the application process and get you into your class.

If you are under 18 and have not earned a high school diploma or GED, you may request an exception to the NSCC admissions policy by Applying as an Underage Student.
Choose one of the following to apply for admission:

  • Apply Online
    Apply Online for free!

     Apply online. It is the simplest and fastest way
    for you to get your application to us... and it's free!


  • Download and Mail the application form to our admissions office.
    The mailing address is provided on the form.

  • Apply in Person
    You can come to the Admissions/Registration office located in the College Center building to pick up or drop off an admissions form. Our admissions staff will review it and assign you a Student ID number while you wait so you can sign up for classes right away.

    You can also apply online using our computer kiosk stations available in the admissions area.
