Step 7: Tuition and Fees
Tuition is determined by the number of courses you take and your residency status. Fees are determined by the number and type of courses you take. These fees do not include classroom expenses like art supplies or course-specific equipment that may be required by the instructor. The average student will take 10 - 18 credits per quarter. Full-time is considered to be 12 credits. An advisor can help you estimate your typical tuition and fee payments. See the Tuition and Fees pages for full details on tuition and fee charges.
Tuition Payment Deadline: Tuition is due 7 business days after you first register or before the first day of the quarter, whichever comes first. For students who register beginning the first day of the quarter, tuition is due at the time of registration. The registration process is not complete until after all tuition and fees are paid in full. Students who do not meet the deadlines stated above, will be dropped from classes. See the Tuition and Fees pages for full details on deadlines.
You can pay at the Cashier's Office by cash, check, VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, or your Financial Aid award. Tuition can also be paid online by credit card without ever coming to campus. See Web Registration for information about paying tuition remotely by credit card.
