Women's Team: Coaches


Rebecca Valdivia

After graduating from Holy Names Academy in Seattle in 1991, where she earned eleven Varsity Letters and three MVP awards, Rebecca played college basketball at Seattle University from 1991-1995. She graduated with a degree in Political Science and began working as a paralegal at a Law Firm in downtown Seattle. She has coached basketball at many levels, including AAU and High School. She was an assistant to the Seattle Prep 2002 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP team and Head Coach at Bellevue High School for two seasons. She emphasizes TEAM, DEFENSE, HUSTLE, DEDICATION and COMMUNICATION. Together, the coaches are also involved a lot in the off-season to help players reach their goals of playing at four-year colleges.


Glenn "ICE" Tinned

Glenn played high school basketball at Garfield High School in Seattle. He was the STATE MVP to his CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM in 1983. "ICE" went on to play ball at the Community College level. After suffering a career-ending injury, he began coaching AAU basketball and was an assistant for two years at the high school level.


Kadee Peterson

Kadee Peterson played high school basketball at Eisenhower High School in Yakima. Kadee played one year of Div 3 basketball at Pacific Lutheran University before she decided to move to Seattle. During her sophomore year, Kadee joined the STORM mid-season and was named to the Northern Region All Star Team. Now attending the University of Washington, Kadee is an assistant coach with the STORM.
