2001-2002 Season Review

The NSCC Lady Storm started the 2001-2002 basketball season with a new coach and few returning players. The NWAACC Coaches Poll at the beginning of the season ranked the Lady Storm in eighth place out of eight teams. The Storm surprised everyone by ending up in fourth place at the end of the season- and advanced to the NWAACC Championships in the Tri-Cities Coliseum March 8th - 11th, 2002. A first in the Lady Storm history!

The Lady Storm met rarely undefeated Big Bend in the first round of the NWAACC Championships. They played tough but lost 89-59. In the second round, NSCC lost to Centralia in a close game 68-60.
