What is the most valuable thing that you have learned from your education that you would share with students?  We are all valuable bearers of knowledge, storytellers, mathematicians, scientists, artists, and neurodiverse lifelong learners. Ask questions and share your story.

What is your favorite hobby? Growing my own food!  I have a small backyard urban farm where I grow foods like tomatoes, radishes, and blueberries that have so much flavor right when they are harvested. I am passionate about being connected to where our food comes from, food justice, and teaching people of all ages about growing organic fruit and vegetables.

What kinds of pets do you have and what are their names? I have a 14-year old dog named Gus who looks exactly like a Golden Retriever, but recently found out via pet DNA test that he is not!

Ask me about: NCAA volleyball, disaster preparedness, fireside sing-a-longs.

Education:  Master of Arts in Teaching, Antioch University; specialized in culturally sustaining pedagogy for experiential/outdoor learning. B.A. in Geography, University of Washington; focused on spatial implications of systems of power
