We have one preschool classroom, ‘Pollywogs,’ for children just under 3 years to 5+ years old. The program is designed to meet the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of preschool-age children. The teacher posts weekly lesson plans.
Pollywog Room (3 to 5+ years)
Ratio: There are two teachers, support staff and 17 children in this room.
Pollywog Room Schedule:
- 8:00 - 9:00 -- Small Group Games/outdoor play
- 9:00 – 9:45 -- Potty/Wash hands/Snack
- 9:45 – 10 – Music Circle and Greetings
- 10 - 10:45 -- Activity Centers
- 10:45 - 11:00 -- Clean-up
- 11:00 - 12 -- Outdoor Play/Walk to Wetlands
- 12:00 - 1 – Lunch/Potty/Wash Hands
- 1 - 2:15 – Rest/Nap
- 2:15 - 3:00 -- Potty/Wash Hands/Snack
- 3:00 - 4:30 – Storytime/Small Group Games/Outdoor Play
